I was overcharged when I purchased Wrigley's 5 Spearmint Rain Sugarfree Gum It was marked on the shelf for 1.25 and the cashier charged me 1.99 and refused to sell it to me for the marked advertised price, she called the manager and he came and changed the price in front of my eyes lucky I took a picture and reported them to the Los Angeles County Agriculture Commissioner

A great mini-grocery store that has a surprisingly range of items. Additionally, there is a full meat department, separately run, in the store that covers all your meat needs. Lastly, and in Manhattan Beach this is uncommon, it lacks a certain snootiness that sometimes is very present in touristy (upperclass) towns.

This excellent quaint grocery store is located close to the center of downtown Manhattan Beach. The perfect place to pick up groceries, it has a small fresh produce and meats section, enough to satisfy any customer. A local favourite, it comes with something that quite a few large grocery stores don't have - personality. Say hello to the friendly staff and if you're a regular, prepare to feel like it's your family store. Although it looks a bit dated from the outside, the interior is clean and offers fresh food on top of your staples.
